WHAT IS LASER GENESIS?
Laser Genesis kick-starts new collagen production, to repair signs of aging and sun damage. A non-ablative laser (meaning that it doesn’t remove the skin’s top layer), it uses micropulse technology, firing short bursts of energy so quickly that it doesn’t damage the skin’s surface. In the hands of an experienced provider, it can safely treat fine lines, uneven texture, dullness, redness, rosacea, large pores, and acne scars, all without downtime.
This device can safely treat skin anywhere on the face or body, and it’s often combined with other procedures, for optimal results. One of the major benefits of this laser treatment is that it’s much less likely to trigger hyperpigmentation in patients with dark skin, unlike many other lasers.
HOW DOES LASER GENESIS WORK?
Laser genesis works by heating the dermis directly under the skin; this stimulates collagen production, which plumps the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Consultation: Before starting treatment, you'll have a consultation. Our specialist will see if laser genesis is right for you during this consultation. We'll ask about your health, check your skin and explain what results you might expect. It's a good time to ask questions

Pre-Treatment Preparation: Preparing for laser genesis is straightforward. AVOID any irritants on and around the area, such as any products containing Hydroquinone, bleaching creams, Retin- A, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids or astringents for at least two weeks prior to treatment. DO NOT use self-tanning agents for at least two weeks before any treatment.

During the Treatment: Most patients describe the sensation of Laser Genesis to be like the warm sun touching their face. Relaxing and without any pain or discomfort at all, this procedure is very much the equivalent of a calming facial—with far more benefits of course. A handheld device moves back and forth across the skin creating a sensation of warmth.

After the Procedure: After each treatment session, it's normal for your skin to exhibit some redness and feel somewhat akin to a mild sunburn. However, there's no cause for concern as this is a common reaction that typically resolves swiftly. So, rest assured, it's just a temporary phase in the healing process.

Results: Most patients notice results within a few days to four weeks after receiving the treatment. This Laser treatment is designed to be done in multiples for optimal results and can be performed as frequently as every two weeks. These results will continue improving over time, allowing you to reach the final results within three to six months.

Maintenance: No downtime is required after a Laser Genesis treatment; you will be able to immediately return to normal activities. The main precaution is to protect your skin in the treated area from UV rays. Avoid sun exposure and use a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen to prevent further sun damage.
